"Knockout!"

               "Eyesore."

Knocked out.

               Sore eye.
Written for #SixWordStories' Word Prompt: Eye.

Inspired by *GlynnRaynes's seven word story Six Moves to Finish: [link] .

Thank you to ~0hgravity for the valuable advice!

(Rather a group effort this one :D)

hehe, I think I got it.

Though, if I'm reading it right, I feel like the last two lines ought to be switched.

D'you know, I wrote it with the last two lines the other way round and then decided to switch them. You've changed my mind (again ^^"). I'll put them back as they were ^^ Thank you for the advice!

No, you were absolutely right. The fact that you thought they should be the other way round without me even mentioning it convinced me :D I know I can trust your artistic sensibilities ^^

Thanks for the feature! Glad to know that I inspired you to create a six-word-story~ ^_^ (I have to say, feels like quite the achievement  ), even better that you got a word-prompt out of it. :meow:

Thank you for inspiring me! ^^ After reading your story I had a rummage online looking at other boxing terminology but "knocked out" (and "knockout") was the only one that worked ^_^
